Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 in 1983) is a well-known American actress. Particularly, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV show and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After her parents divorced, she moved with her mom in Los Angeles. The actress landed her first part in the film, Rachel's Room's main character in 2001 despite struggling in the financial department. Her portrayal as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. movie Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her an award nomination for the Young Artist Award. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. The show featured her as the principal character for two seasons and was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace decided to concentrate on film after playing opposite Tom Welling's character, The Fog, in 2005. The actress has also appeared as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well in 2007 and in Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. She played the same role in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace played Shannon on the finale and in two additional episodes. In 2013, she appeared in the sixth episode of Californication. She is Faith, a groupie who serves as a model for the stars, and draws the attention from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). When she was in her teens She appeared in small roles in films made by her father. She also she co-starred alongside her brother in Donnie Darko the famous cult film. Her next appearance was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for both her performances as a lead character in Secretary (2002) as well as in Sherrybaby (2006), the erotic drama about romance as well as Sherrybaby (2006). She received a nomination from The Golden Globe Award. In the wake of several successful commercial films in 2006, including World Trade Center she received wider recognition for playing Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008).
