Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international advancements into Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) received the Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017. Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was released in 2017 by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album reached number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he appeared in a duet with TINI on her streaming hit single Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo is a product of a family of musicians both his parents are musicians. He has said in interviews that music was a necessity. As a child, he was instructed to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. Although his first choice of career was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in lessons in singing with a Cuban instructor and as a result personally discovering his talent as a singer altered his entire life.
