Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. Her childhood was spent listening to classic, old boleros as well as the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana is a fan of Tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of theatrical performance. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to provide her with more intense singing instruction. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. She performed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. When she moved from Mexico to the United States at the age of 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in traditional Latin American music at private performances. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
